My Background

Hello, my name is Eddie Slowikowski and I have been a professional motivational & performance expert speaker and consultant for over 30 years. I was a former "world class" runner and gold medal winner for the United States indoor track & field team. I was the 169th American to run a mile under 4 minutes with a time of 3:58! I was a 3x division 1 NCAA All-American from Loyola University Chicago. I was a former reporter at CNN in Chicago before launching my own consulting and speaking business in 1992. For over 30 years I have been a highly sought after speaker, consultant & author. 

I am known throughout the industry as a Peak INSPIRED Performance expert. I have worked in schools all across North America (all 50 states) with students, teachers & administrators. I have authored 2 books: LIFERIDE & THE FOUR MINUTE FORMULA. My widely acclaimed "Four Minute Formula" has been utilized by parents and teens all across North America and my LifeRide program became a huge success as a non-profit leadership academy & curriculum for teens. The LifeRide process helped teens find their purpose and passion for what they want in life and a roadmap to get there!


My Philosophy

I believe that teens today have the potential to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. I also believe that the era in which we live has created many challenges and obstacles for our them to over come. I believe that we need to face the world as it is, head on, realizing that WHO WE ARE, our AUTHENTIC SELF is the gift we are meant to share with the world. 

When you have a teen who understands that their life has purpose & meaning, you have an individual who will have the self esteem & self confidence to take action amidst the adversity they may face and know that they will have a deep & powerful positive impact on our world! 

Living each day with accountability, responsibility, grit, empathy and compassion will help them realize that each day is a gift and opportunity to live life to the best of their ability and by doing so they have the conscience awareness that its how they live in the present that creates a purposeful life and an inspiring future! 

My 7-step FOUR MINUTE FORMULA & the LIFERIDE PROCESS will give parents & teens the tools they need to navigate thru this world and create the roadmap they will need to live each day as a HEALTHY & MOTIVATED TEEN!

Today Jeff Brickler, Mark Harris and I were at the region 4 A.D meeting in Kentucky and we ran into Jonathan Vincent (A.D Warren East HS). He was very excited to see us and specifically to tell us a powerful story that occurred a few hours after the presentation you did there in the fall.
He went on and on about how everyone loved your message and how you presented it. A few hours after you were done presenting, a student came down to the office very upset. The student had planned to commit suicide that day, but after hearing your message that individual decided to ask for help instead...the student received it and is doing well now.
Jonathan shared that he was so thankful that you were there that day and if WEHS never does another thing with Varsity Brands, he was extremely grateful the impact that you had that day.
Once Jonathan was done telling us the heartfelt story and we dried our eyes, he got the attention of all 17 A.D’s in the room and told them the same story, getting the same reaction Jeff, Mark and I had. One thing he added in the second telling was that Warren East HS has had 3 suicides in the last 18 months and he was so thankful this one was avoided.
I just wanted to let you know that what you do every day makes a difference in the lives of many. Thank you so much and I look forward to working with you again.
